Enter a topic or target keyword and get a publication-ready content outline in seconds — complete with an SEO-optimised title, H2 sections, H3 subsections, and concrete bullet points under each. Export as Markdown or copy any section individually.

Why outlines save time and improve rankings

Most writers go straight from a blank page to a first draft. The result is content that meanders, misses subtopics Google expects to see, and has to be restructured in editing. A well-built outline front-loads the hardest thinking — deciding what to cover, in what order, and at what depth — so the actual writing becomes faster and more focused.

From an SEO standpoint, Google's helpful content systems reward topical completeness. A page that covers a subject comprehensively tends to outrank a page that covers only the obvious angle, even if the shorter page is better written. Outlining against a specific keyword forces you to think about what searchers actually want to know, not just what you want to say.

What each input does

Topic or Keyword — the core subject of your content. Be as specific as possible: "how to start a dropshipping business" will produce a more focused outline than "dropshipping". You can also paste in a long-tail keyword exactly as searchers type it.

Content Type — changes the structural template the AI uses. A Blog Post gets an intro, body sections, and conclusion. A Listicle organises everything around numbered items. A Tutorial follows a step-by-step flow with prerequisites. A Ultimate Guide goes deeper with more H2 sections and a broader scope. An Landing Page skips educational sections and prioritises benefit and CTA blocks.

Target Audience — calibrates vocabulary, assumed knowledge, and the angle of each section. Beginner outlines define terms and avoid jargon. Expert outlines skip the basics and go straight to nuanced distinctions. Business Owner outlines frame everything around ROI and decision-making.

Tone — shapes how each heading and bullet point is framed. Informational is neutral and factual. Conversational uses plain language and addresses the reader directly. Persuasive leans into benefits and social proof signals. Educational is structured like a lesson with clear takeaways per section.

Target Word Count — signals the intended depth of the piece. A 800-word outline will have 3–4 lean H2 sections. A 3000-word outline will have 6–7 sections with multiple subsections each. The AI calibrates the number of subsections and bullet points accordingly so the structure is proportional to the final length.

Reading the output

The result is structured as a collapsible outline. Each card is an H2 section with its subsections and bullet points nested inside. The top of the card shows a summary sentence that describes the point of that section — useful for briefing writers or reviewing scope at a glance.

Bullet points are content prompts, not finished sentences. They flag the specific idea each subsection should develop. When you hand the outline to a writer (or feed it back into an AI writer), these bullets prevent vague paragraphs — each one maps to a concrete claim, example, or step.

The title at the top is generated to match the content type and target keyword. For SEO content, it follows a format that tends to perform well in search (number + benefit + audience, or question + qualifier). You can use it as-is or treat it as a starting point.

Copy and export options

Copy section — copies a single H2 block as Markdown (heading, summary as a blockquote, subsection headings, and bullet points). Useful when you want to paste one section into a doc without the rest.

Copy all — copies the full outline as clean Markdown starting with the H1 title. Paste directly into Notion, a Google Doc, or your CMS.

.md download — saves the outline as a .md file named after the title. Useful for keeping outlines in a content calendar folder or committing them to a docs repo.

How to use it

Type your target keyword into the topic field, choose the content type that matches your format, set the audience level and tone, pick a word count, and click Generate Outline. The outline appears in 5–10 seconds. Each section is expanded by default — click any header to collapse sections you want to skip. Use Regenerate to get a structurally different take on the same topic without changing your inputs.
